Christine McCall Home: April Edit

I left the house yesterday for the first time in a week. My family and I have been following the stay-at-home order during this quarantine, trying to do our part to flatten the curve. But sometimes you just need to get out and breathe in the fresh air. Driving my car around town, it was beautiful to see the trees starting to bloom. They were like little nuggets of happiness. This is such a heavy time for us all. It's hard to process all of the emotions. The little things, such as a blooming tree, are getting me through. Here are a few other things that have brought me joy over the past couple of weeks.

For Your Home

This diffuser sits on my kitchen counter and is constantly filling our home with fresh, comforting scents.

Every morning I fill my Yeti rambler with hot coffee and a splash of Bailey's. In the evenings, you'll most likely find mybyta cup filled with Tito's and a splash of cranberry juice. Both drinks bring me immense joy.

Online learning is our new normal. I don't know what I would do without my wonderful assistant, Alexa.

Wardrobe and Beauty Essentials

Occasionally I feel motivated and throw on my new favorite high-waisted, slim boy jeans.

Sometimes I'll throw these Spring sneakers on with the jeans and go for a stroll around my house pretending I've got places to go and people to see.

Right now the stress of the situation is causing me to break out a little bit. Before my zoom calls, I dab a little of this stretch concealer on for the perfect coverage.

My house seems to be very dry and because I'm spending so much time in it right now, my skin is a wreck. Thank goodness for this gentle exfoliant keeping it fresh and hydrated. Also, it's from a local small business here in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. This is the perfect time to support your local business in your community!

My hubs and I binged the third season of Ozark in two days. The last five seconds of the final episode…OMG. Now we're watching Tiger King, because who isn't?

I'm finding a lot of comfort and laughter these days in the Women Who Love Wine Instagram Feed.

CMH recently launched a new website and we purchased our beautiful template from IDCO Studio. I could get lost in their blog everyday. So many content-rich and actionable posts about running a design business. I've been spending a lot of time 'Leveling Up!', thanks to their inspiring content.
