Christine McCall Home: March Edit

January dragged on. February flew by. March is going at a reasonable pace, for now. With that said, we are thrilled to kick-off our new blog with a monthly series dedicated to our favorite things. From products for your home and must have wardrobe and beauty essentials, to what we're currently eating, reading, and streaming - we've got you covered! Tune in every month for our top picks, with links, so you too can enjoy what we're referring to as our monthly must-haves.

For Your Home

Stocked up on my favorite home cleaning product, because coronavirus. I use this for EVERYTHING.

Loving this faux string of hearts houseplant. I'm typically a real, living plants and flowers in the home kind of girl. This is very close to the real thing. Otherwise, visit your local nursery.

This beautiful coffee table book by Lauren Liess.

Updated my soaps and hand towels for Spring. You're welcome.

Wardrobe + Beauty Essentials

This body polish from Herbivore.

This intensive repair serum from a local natural skincare and essential oil company. If you're local to Pittsburgh, stop in. My six year old son loves their bath bombs.

This tinted moisturizer has been my go-to for years. I hardly wear make-up these days. Just this, mascara and lately this tinted lip balm from Burts Bees.

This full zip hooded sweatshirt from Zella. Also a huge fan of their high-waisted leggings.

New spring kicks, who dis?

This long sleeve top I've been wearing a little too much. Sorry not sorry.

Currently Streaming + Reading

Every episode of Armchair Expert - a podcast hosted by Dax Shepard that celebrates the messiness of being human. Each week he interviews a celebrity and/or industry expert from the comfort of his attic. I listen in the car or while pushing a shopping cart down the Whole Foods aisle. I love how fluid and honest the conversations are between Dax and his guests. Every episode is delightful, funny, vulnerable...just so real. If you get the chance to see a live taping - do it!

The Office on Netflix. My go-to feel good comedy will forever be Friends. Since it was removed from Netlix, my husband and I have been watching The Office. I never watched the show during its prime on NBC (gasp!). I find myself laughing out loud every episode. My favorite part? Every time Jim plays a joke on Dwight.

Just finished Narcos: Mexico season two. Better than season one, imo.

My son has the original Jumanji on repeat and I find myself stopping to watch it with him every time. I forgot how good it is and well, Robin Williams. Insert sad emoji.

Amazon Primed a few new cookbooks because I'm seriously lacking in this department. I'm very unmotivated when it comes to cooking weekly dinners. I'm optimistic this will help.
